THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MARINE MAMMAL PROTECTED AREAS

From 2009, the International Committee on Marine Mammal Protected Areas has produced a series of conferences that brought together marine mammal scientists, MPA managers, conservationists, and policy experts. These international conferences led to the formation of the IUCN Marine Mammal Protected Areas Task Force and were seminal in the development of the IMMA tool, We are pleased to host these conference workshop reports for their value to the marine mammal protected area community.
